Sweet Pea grew out of Batteau’s memories of her mother’s garden - where climbing stems reached toward the sun and unfurled their blooms releasing intoxicating and unique scents even as they remained deeply rooted in the earth. Floral forms echoed in multiple hues of marble plaster are concealed and revealed through layers of tinted waxes.
