THE SINUOUS COLLECTION
The Sinuous Collection is the inaugural wallpaper offering from Callidus Guild. Inspired by the natural world and arts and culture throughout human history, each hand-polished marble plaster surface was painstakingly designed and perfected by our founder, Yolande Batteau, based on her own painting studies and bodies of work. Included in this collection are many of our longtime best-sellers, and the core techniques, aesthetic, and materials now ascribed to Callidus Guild.
Comprised of five distinct surfaces: Linear, Soft Linear, Ribbon, Luster Daub, and Bouclé.
LINEAR
Linear is a marble plaster wallpaper featuring crystalline lines encapsulating blooming dispersions of jewel colored thread, well-defined and striking.
SOFT LINEAR
Soft Linear is a hand-applied, soft marble plaster wallpaper with micaceous plaster striations. It features soft variants in texture and pattern.
RIBBON
Ribbon is a soft, undulating marble plaster wallpaper. Rippling bands of plaster and pigment create hushed variations in this rich surface.
LUSTER DAUB
a micaceous damask with the light play of a sparkling watery surface. Pulled from the earth, bands of shimmering mica-enriched plaster play off contrasting satiny dales present in this highly textural finish.
BOUCLÉ
Bouclé has a woven, polished texture in a shimmering, pearlescent finish - reminiscent of Coco Chanel’s distinctive fabric. Tightly crosshatched peaks and valleys give Boucle its signature yet subtle terraneous appearance.
